Job summary

Light & Wonder, located in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to apply in-depth engineering knowledge to resolve technical problems, investigate technologies, and sustain current products while developing new ones.

You will create drawings, specifications, and ECOs for electro-mechanical parts, lead the design of parts and assemblies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive experience in electro-mechanical product development.
• Familiar with PLM systems (Agile preferred).
• 3D CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCad, Solid Edge).

Responsibilities

• Create drawings, specifications, and ECOs for electro-mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Lead designer of parts and assemblies.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary development team of engineers, designers and technicians.
• Maintain proper documentation to substantiate patent applications and provide technical consultation when requested.
• Suggest innovations, design improvements and cost reductions for existing products.
• Participate in cross-functional design reviews at key milestones during the project life cycle.
• Participate in prototype and pilot production builds.
• Complete assignments within approved project budget and schedule parameters.
