Jacobs in Syracuse, NY seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver complex mechanical building systems including HVAC, fire protection and plumbing for state-of-the-art facilities. You will manage schedule and technical quality across multi‑discipline projects, and provide on‑site support during construction, startup and commissioning.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, align with client expectations, and contribute to innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of mechanical engineering facility design experience including HVAC, fire protection and plumbing.
• Experience with Navisworks and Revit preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Syracuse, NY.

Responsabilités

• Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
• Provide on‑site assistance during construction, startup and commissioning.
• Coordinate work activities with design, engineering professionals and the discipline lead.
• Deliver designs and specifications for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
