Actalent seeks a senior mechanical engineer to lead design, analysis, integration, and qualification of subsystems for undersea products. You will own documentation and qualification from concept to field deployment, coordinating tests and manufacturing as needed.

The role requires a bachelor's in mechanical engineering with 8+ years of experience in electromechanical assemblies, pressure vessels, FEA, SolidWorks, environmental testing, GD&T, and production-oriented design.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and at least 8 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Candidates should have strong experience with electromechanical assemblies, pressure vessels, FEA, SolidWorks, environmental testing, GD&T, and production-oriented mechanical design.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, analysis, integration, documentation, and qualification of mechanical subsystems and complex electronics assemblies for undersea products.
• Support product development and production through testing, manufacturing coordination, engineering documentation, and design ownership from concept through field deployment.
