Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead large, complex projects as a lead engineer or project manager. You will direct engineering solutions, oversee analysis, design, and implementation of mechanical systems for the government and DoD sectors.

You will mentor teams, manage budgets, and collaborate across disciplines to achieve project goals. This role requires strong communication and leadership, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE License required.
• 14+ years building design consulting experience, 16 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Develop detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Perform site assessments and generate technical analyses and reports.
• Partner with clients to understand needs and maintain relationships.
• Conduct in-process design reviews and support quality control.
