Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• 8+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in aerospace/defense
• Proficient with CAD tools (SolidWorks) and rapid prototyping methods

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of complex assemblies for defense systems
• Develop designs from concept through prototype and test
• Perform trade studies balancing weight, strength, thermal, manufacturability, and cost
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and TDPs
• Drive rapid build-test-iterate cycles for speed and performance
• Interface with fabrication resources and ensure manufacturability
