Job summary

HDR Engineering seeks a Mechanical/Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing TMT practice, focusing on data center and mission-critical facilities. You will lead the mechanical design from start to finish, coordinating with clients, project managers, electrical teams, architects, and other disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, a PE license, and 3+ years of relevant design experience, with mentoring and leadership skills to guide junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience in commercial/institutional facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for projects from concept to construction.
• Coordinate with clients, PMs, electrical, architects and other disciplines.
• Prepare feasibility studies, construction documents, specifications, calculations, RFIs and shop drawings.
• Provide QA/QC and assist with construction administration as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee CAD/technical staff.
