Job summary

HDR is seeking a Mechanical/Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading TMT practice, contributing to mechanical design for Data Center and mission-critical facilities. You will coordinate with clients, project managers, electrical teams, architects and other disciplines to deliver feasibility analyses, construction documents and specs.

The role offers mentorship to junior engineers, opportunities to lead design efforts from concept through construction, and requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical emphasis.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical system design for commercial or institutional buildings.
• Data Center / Mission Critical facilities design experience.
• Sustainability/LEED knowledge or interest preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE or P.Eng license.

Responsibilities

• Design projects from start to finish and coordinate with clients, PMs, electrical teams, architects and other disciplines.
• Develop feasibility reports, construction documents and specifications.
• Perform RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, site investigations and construction administration.
• Mentor and train younger mechanical engineers.
