Senior Mechanical Engineer - CMTA Midwest

Job Summary

This role involves providing mechanical services that meet and exceed client expectations, offering expert advice, making key decisions, and developing complex mechanical design elements. You will lead and guide a team of engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while growing and developing the mechanical department and maintaining strong client relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Project Management:
    • Motivate and review work of mechanical engineers.
    • Work with clients to identify goals.
    • Manage billing and budgeting.
    • Coordinate services among team, clients, and contractors.
    • Provide solutions to mechanical design challenges.
    • Manage and review engineering team performance.
    • Lead weekly team meetings and delegate tasks.
  2. Business Development:
    • Engage with clients to understand and meet expectations.
    • Maintain positive client relationships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • P.E. license in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Strong professionalism and organizational skills.
  • Industry and market expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High integrity and ethical standards.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours as needed.
Additional Information

This position supervises a team, involves complex problem solving, decision-making, and requires physical ability to perform typical office and field tasks. No sponsorship is available.
