Future Ventures is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Bastrop, Texas to drive the development of our advanced Prufrock tunneling technology. You will lead design efforts for complex systems, ensuring all designs meet regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 6+ years of relevant experience, and hands-on fabrication experience. Benefits include employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), and competitive equity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role or relevant position.
• Hands-on hardware experience in fabrication, assembly, and/or testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of systems related to boring machines and tunnel infrastructure.
• Act as a subject matter expert, assisting other team members.
• Own project schedules for timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with regulations like MSHA and OSHA.
