Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design mechanical components and systems for precision automation equipment in compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Utilize CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor to create detailed designs and documentation.
- Apply precision motion control and assembly methods to support high‑accuracy automation solutions.
- Integrate robotics, actuators, sensors, and control systems into automation equipment in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Conduct data analysis, modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to validate designs and improve system reliability.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and validation protocols.
- Stay current with advancements in automation technology and precision engineering to support innovation and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in automation, equipment design, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience with CAD, analysis, and technical software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, MATLAB, Python, or R.
- Experience designing and specifying mechanical components and automation solutions, including stepper motors, servo motors, and linear actuators.
- Ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into cohesive systems, with strong attention to detail, analytical problem‑solving, and clear communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robotics, actuators, sensors, PLCs, or HMI systems.
- Familiarity with FEA, CFD, Simulink, or related simulation and control system tools.
- Programming knowledge in Python, C++, MATLAB, or PLC programming languages.
- Experience with system‑level troubleshooting, performance optimization, and design validation in precision applications.
- Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $83,134.00 – $114,310.00 (assuming full‑time status). Starting pay depends on experience, location, and market demands.
