Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is hiring for an experienced mechanical engineer to support a leading AI lab's GenAI team. You will review, document, and engineer evaluation tasks for model reasoning across mechanical design, thermal/fluids, structure, manufacturing, and controls.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on industry experience, strong CAD/analysis tool skills, and the ability to produce precise instruction specs and reference solutions for complex engineering tasks.

Qualifications

• Genuine ownership of real engineering work (designs, analyses, or systems).
• Experience releasing drawings and specifications and leading design reviews.
• Proficient with common engineering tools and relevant codes/standards.
• Hands-on industry experience in mechanical engineering domains.

Responsibilities

• Vet quality of mechanical tasks and model outputs.
• Write instruction specs and reference solutions defining correctness.
