Testek Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of FLAP test equipment for aerospace applications. The role focuses on guiding projects from concept through production in a hands-on, cross-functional environment onsite in Wixom, Michigan.

You’ll support assembly, start-up, and commissioning while advancing aviation testing technology and ensuring equipment safety and reliability through thorough engineering calculations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience designing custom equipment
• Experience with fixture, tooling, and automation design
• U.S. citizen or U.S. green card holder

Aufgaben

• Interpret customer specifications and maintenance manuals to define equipment requirements
• Create 3D CAD models and layout drawings using SolidWorks
• Design mechanical components, including enclosures, fixtures, manifolds, and piping systems
• Perform engineering calculations to ensure safety and functionality
• Lead customer design reviews and provide mechanical expertise
• Collaborate with electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and software engineers
• Assist in technical manual development
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet project goals
• Travel up to 10% (domestic and international)
