Qualifications

Job description

A leading manufacturer of custom-engineered thermal management solutions, supporting some of the world's largest hyperscale customers. As AI infrastructure demand accelerates, this team is at the forefront — developing next-generation Liquid and Air Cooled products from cradle to grave.

The Role

• You'll own the mechanical design and development of custom cooling solutions across both Liquid and Air Cooled product families, working directly with hyperscale customers.
• This is a highly cross-functional role where you'll:
• Design and optimize systems involving pumps, valves, piping, and flow control devices
• Apply FEA, CFD, DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFMA tools across the full product lifecycle
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Operations from concept through commercialization
• Select materials and develop piping layouts (PVC, Stainless Steel, Copper, HDPE, and more)
• Build BOMs and own technical documentation for designs moving into production
• Mentor junior engineers and help set the technical standard for the team

What They're Looking For

• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience — HVAC background strongly preferred
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, DraftSight, or Revit
• Strong cross-functional communicator who can manage multiple projects in parallel
• P.E. license or MSME a plus
• Occasional monthly travel required to customer and manufacturing sites
