As a result, a full-time position is available for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our Denver, CO; Madison, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Dallas, TX; San Diego, CA or Tampa, FL office locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical guidance to mechanical project teams.
• Manage and attend client meetings, ensuring project objectives are met.
• Oversee construction phase services with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and learning.
• Contribute to business development efforts with innovative solutions.
• Regular travel to military bases and airports as part of lead mechanical engineer role.

The Successful Candidate Must Have All The Following

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering
• PE license in any state and ability to obtain in additional states as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The Following

• Expertise in mechanical system types such as hot water, chilled water, condenser water systems, VAV, Geothermal, VRF systems, DDC control systems
• Experience in sustainable design, steam systems, commissioning services, and plumbing systems.
• Proven track record as a project lead.
• Experience in designing mechanical systems for Federal Government projects.
• Commitment to sustainable design and innovation.
