  • Develop and execute test protocols to evaluate fluidic performance, system reliability, electrical functionality, and product robustness.
  • Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues during development and production.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure successful product development and deployment.
  • Support prototype development, assembly, verification, and validation activities.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for product and process issues.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support product transfer to manufacturing and provide ongoing engineering support for released products.
  • Identify opportunities for design improvements, cost reductions, and enhanced product performance.
Ideally, to be successful you will possess:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Master’s Degree a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience developing electro-mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a lead engineering capacity.
  • Experience developing products for medical devices, laboratory instrumentation, diagnostics, or life sciences applications preferred.
  • Experience with PCB design, embedded electronics, and firmware integration.
  • Working knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
