Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Engineering & Design

• Lead the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of building and facility projects.
• Perform HVAC load calculations, system analysis, and equipment selection utilizing industry-standard software.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Interpret technical drawings and coordinate design development activities.
• Review designs for compliance with applicable mechanical, energy, and plumbing codes and standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts across engineering disciplines.

Project Management & Leadership

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
• Lead engineering teams through project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and work plans.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to engineers and designers.
• Monitor project performance and resolve technical and execution challenges.

Business Development & Client Engagement

• Support proposal development, qualifications packages, and pursuit activities.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and relationship-building efforts.
• Identify and support new business opportunities.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10 to 15 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Extensive experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Experience managing engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience utilizing HVAC load calculation software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, energy, and plumbing codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management certifications or formal project management experience.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary engineering projects.
• Energy modeling experience.
• Established relationships with local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
