Senior / Lead Mechanical Engineer | Product Development
Location: New Hampshire, USA
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - up to 4 days remote per week
Compensation: High pay rate, dependent on experience
Take the lead on innovative engineering projects
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for a technically challenging role offering excellent pay and an attractive hybrid working arrangement?
An award-winning company based in New Hampshire is looking for a Senior, Lead or Principal Mechanical Engineer to support product development projects from initial concept through to manufacture.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership of the full development lifecycle, leading mechanical design decisions and turning complex engineering challenges into practical, manufacturable products.
You do not need previous medical device experience. The client is interested in engineers with a strong mechanical engineering background who have worked across a range of products and development projects. The key requirement is experience acting as the mechanical lead on a development, with a clear understanding of the engineering decisions behind the design and manufacture of a product.
Alongside the opportunity to take technical ownership of exciting projects, the role offers a high pay rate and a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
You'll take responsibility for mechanical engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle, from early concept and CAD design through prototyping, testing and final manufacture.
The role is suited to an engineer who can work independently, make sound technical decisions and take ownership of a development rather than simply delivering individual design tasks.
You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of products and engineering challenges, applying your experience to develop robust, practical and production-ready solutions.
Previous medical device experience is not required. Experience in other industries involving mechanical design, complex products, mechanisms or product development will be considered.
One of the standout features of this opportunity is the combination of a high pay rate and an attractive remote-working arrangement.
The working arrangement will depend on the stage of development, with remote work suited to focused CAD and design activities and on-site attendance required for practical testing and prototyping.
If you're an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for a high-paying opportunity with genuine technical responsibility and flexible hybrid working, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
Previous medical device experience is not necessary. We're interested in engineers who can demonstrate strong mechanical design capability, product development experience and the ability to lead a development from concept through to manufacture.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold a U.S. green card.
