Job summary

Integra is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Dallas, TX to design and manage cooling components and related systems for complex data centers. You will analyze energy performance and support commissioning processes.

This role requires a PE license, a mechanical or architectural engineering degree, and 6+ years of design, project planning, construction and commissioning experience with HVAC and controls. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Procore is preferred.

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.

  • Understand mission critical construction industry protocols and troubleshooting support.
  • Confer with engineers and design staff to interpret design concepts.
  • Review all applicable documentation to determine designs.
  • Perform calculations in preparation for designing products.
  • Review documents, quotes, and drawings to create electrical and cooling designs.
  • Revise drawings and designs based on change orders and client needs/requests.
  • Prepare product reports by collecting and analyzing information.

The Opportunity

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will develop and manage the design and controls of cooling components and related systems for complex data centers. The incumbent will analyze the energy performance of each project and coordinate and support the commissioning process.

What you will do?
  • Understand mission critical construction industry protocols and troubleshooting support
  • Confer with engineers and design staff to interpret design concepts

  • Perform calculations in preparation for designing products

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred
  • PE certification required

  • Proven experience leading design for multiple buildings
  • Experience and knowledge to select HVAC equipment
