Job summary

Synstack Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 6+ years of experience in SolidWorks CAD design to lead plastics extrusion and converting projects at our Connecticut site. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams, manage multiple concurrent machine projects, and contribute with minimal onboarding to drive documentation and BOM accuracy.

This role requires strong communication, hands-on problem solving, and the ability to translate complex designs

Qualifications

• 6+ years as Mechanical engineer with SolidWorks CAD design.
• 4+ years of plastics extrusion and converting.
• Experience with manufacturing documentation and BOM.
• Experience with PDM/PLM and supporting multiple concurrent machine projects.
• ETO machinery experience; able to onboard quickly.
• Strong cross-functional communication with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
