Job summary

Xona in Burlingame, CA seeks an experienced mechanical hardware engineer to own spacecraft subsystems from concept through production. You will lead trade studies, testing, supplier execution, and cross-team coordination to ensure end-to-end hardware delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s in ME/Aerospace and at least seven years of hardware development experience, strong CAD (SolidWorks) and GD&T proficiency, and hands-on testing with a track record of technical leadership.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field, plus at least seven years of mechanical hardware development experience. Candidates must demonstrate end-to-end hardware delivery, strong mechanical fundamentals, CAD and configuration management proficiency, structural analysis capability, hands-on testing experience, and technical leadership.
