Job summary

LRS Federal LLC seeks a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver federal facility projects that impact communities and national missions.

You will lead design-build efforts, coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams, review drawings and calculations, and mentor junior staff to ensure the highest standards and compliance with federal codes.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of mechanical engineering experience with substantial exposure to federal projects.
  • Proven success leading design‑build projects (this is a must).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a strong plus, but not required.
  • Deep understanding of federal standards, codes, and project delivery methods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Driven, resourceful, and passionate about delivering the best outcomes for clients.
