Job summary

Tenova S.p.A. is seeking a Mechanical Draftsman for the Technical Services team in Coraopolis, PA. The role focuses on creating precise 2D drawings in AutoCAD, developing 3D models with Inventor, and preparing fabrication drawings for melt shop technologies.

The candidate should have 5+ years of drafting experience, strong analytical skills, and be able to work in an international environment. Hybrid work options and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Drafting or CAD Technology.
• At least 5 years of drafting experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate 2D drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Produce 2D drawings from sketches.
• Generate 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
• Calculate weights and locate center of gravity of parts and assemblies.
• Generate accurate Bill of Materials and parts list.
• Apply dimensions, tolerances, fits, weld symbols, and surface finish requirements.
• Generate layouts, general arrangements, fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Revise drawings based on engineering comments and marked up documents.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models to be used in technical proposals.
