Job summary

DC Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Drafter/Designer to support HVAC and plumbing design for commercial and industrial projects. You will develop construction documents, 3D models, and detailed drawings in collaboration with mechanical engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required and Revit experience is strongly preferred, with a track record of

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical drafting/design experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; Revit experience strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing HVAC and plumbing construction documents.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering calculations, specifications and sketches.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify HVAC and plumbing design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Create construction documents, plans, schedules, details, and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical engineers and other disciplines.
• Maintain drafting standards and quality control procedures.
• Incorporate design revisions and project updates into drawing packages.
• Support project teams in meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and collaborate across teams.
