Job summary
Honda seeks an experienced engineer to manage accessory development from planning through first article inspection, driving QCD targets. You will coordinate with suppliers and the CBU team to achieve desired innovation and integration levels for accessory parts.
You will lead cross-functional collaboration, create schedules, ensure on-time installation instructions, and push process improvements to advance development technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in powersports or automotive.
- Proficiency with MS Office and engineering documentation tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage development of accessory components from planning to first article inspection.
- Coordinate with suppliers and the development team to reach QCD targets.
- Establish accessory line-ups and drive model rollout while meeting cost targets.
- Create and manage project schedules; lead meetings and status updates.
- Ensure installation instructions are completed on time for product release.
- Propose process improvements and advance development technologies.
