Job summary

Mazzetti's Seattle team is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer or Senior Mechanical Engineer Project Manager to lead complex healthcare engineering projects from pursuit through construction, while delivering high‑performance building systems and strong client relationships.

This hybrid role combines design leadership, scope and budget governance, cross‑disciplinary coordination, and ongoing mentoring of engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 8+ years in AEC consulting.
• 6+ years healthcare engineering, including hospital design; PM experience on multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical engineering projects from planning through construction.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop project scopes, work plans, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and project execution strategies.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across multiple Mazzetti offices.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and profitability while proactively identifying and resolving project risks.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate communication among clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations.
