Ghafari Associates seeks a Senior Mechanical Designer to develop construction drawings and specifications for new or renovated facilities. You will work under supervision on smaller projects, using Revit/AutoCAD to design HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems and ensure code compliance.

You’ll review submittals, coordinate with disciplines, and assist in field measurements and project documentation. A strong CAD skill set and 10+ years of experience are preferred.

Competenze

• 10+ years of related experience in mechanical engineering (HVAC/building systems).
• Degree in Architectural/Mechanical Engineering preferred. LEED ok.
• Strong CAD/energy modeling skills and building code knowledge.

Mansioni

• With supervision, scope projects and align budgets with PM/client goals.
• Develop mechanical layouts for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Create construction drawings using Revit/AutoCAD with junior support.
• Review specs, submittals, and ensure code compliance.
• Conduct field measurements and verify installation accuracy.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and report scope changes.
• Prepare project files, transmittals, and reproduction requests.
• Source equipment and maintain organized project documentation.
