Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) seeks a Mechanical Designer III to develop and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and BOMs for autonomous container-handling platforms. You’ll design brackets, mounts, weldments, and panels while integrating autonomy kits, sensors, and electrical components for field deployments.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, documentation discipline, and collaboration with engineers, fabrication teams, and field staff across office, shop, and fleet environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical Design or related field.
• Five+ years in mechanical design, drafting, or vehicle design.
• Experience creating 3D CAD models, drawings, assemblies, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, assemblies, and fabrication docs.
• Design brackets, mounts, weldments, panels, guards, and enclosure components.
• Support integration of autonomy kits, sensors, compute hardware, wiring, and vehicle systems.
