Job Description

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll collaborate with customers and teams to design robust solutions that tackle unique challenges. You’ll rely on your expertise to create innovative designs, validate them through analysis, and oversee the entire development process.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with sales and manufacturing to design manufacturable solutions.
  2. Use SolidWorks, PDM, and ERP systems for design and documentation.
  3. Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and calculations to ensure product durability.
  4. Support manufacturing through troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
  5. Participate in peer reviews and mentor junior engineers to grow the team’s expertise.
  6. Drive Research and Development (R&D) projects and prepare technical briefs for new products.
  7. Travel occasionally to customer sites for technical support when needed.
  8. Step in for the Engineering Manager as required and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of metal manufacturing processes, including welding and machining.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, FEA, Mathcad, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to work hands-on.
  • Passion for continuous learning and mentoring.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50+ pounds).
  • Work in warehouse/shop environments, occasionally near loud machinery.
  • Forklift certification (training provided).
