Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D).
• PE license is required to practice.
• 15+ years of progressive medical device development experience in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical authority for medical device and healthcare product development programs.
• Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and technical associates to foster innovation and technical excellence.
• Provide oversight on complex client engagements involving medical devices, drug delivery systems, diagnostics, and combination products.
• Guide teams through design decisions, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct high-level design reviews and lead product development lifecycle activities.
• Support recruiting and development of future technical leaders within SES.
