Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 16+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical machinery or capital equipment design.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD.
• Experience with machine design and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of CNC and precision machinery.
• Develop mechanical systems with spindles, bearings, and linear guides.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, drawings and BOMs.
• Apply engineering calculations to validate designs and component selection.
• Support prototyping, assembly, testing and commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers and review designs.
