Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in product development or mechanical design.
• Experience with Creo, GD&T and 3D modeling.
• Experience in regulated medical device development is preferred.
• Familiarity with FEA or tolerance analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop medical device components from concept through verification.
• Translate customer and product needs into engineering specs, prototypes, and models.
• Analyze and resolve complex mechanical design challenges using engineering analysis and testing.
• Create and maintain drawings, models, specifications, test docs, and DHF records.
• Apply design controls, change controls, risk management, verification, and validation.
• Evaluate materials and manufacturing processes to support design and manufacturability.
• Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical Sciences, Marketing, and PM.
