Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX, is seeking a Precision Fires Mechanical Engineer to support PrSM production and development programs. The role includes leading a small engineering team, resolving hardware issues with Manufacturing, Quality and Procurement, and performing 3D CAD design and drawings.

A BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 5+ years of experience are required; CREO proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university, with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficient in PTC CREO and Windchill.
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• DoD Secret level clearance required.

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Engineer will interface with internal and external customers to provide data and production solutions.
• Create/update CAD models and assemble them to support production or development efforts.
• Lead cross functional coordination meetings with suppliers to represent the team.
