Simplexity Product Development, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Seattle, WA. You will lead teams designing subsystems of robotic, biotech, and consumer products, applying strong mechanical fundamentals to create simple and reliable designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks (preferred) and CAD.
• Proficiency in 2D drawings and GD&T ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with manufacturing processes: injection molding, sheet metal, machining, rapid prototyping.
• Experience integrating complex systems with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organization and analytical skills; detail oriented.
• Clear communication and detailed reporting.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams designing subsystems of products, tools, and equipment.
• Develop complex products including robotics, biotech instrumentation, and other components.
• Apply mechanical fundamentals to simple, reliable design.
• Collaborate with electrical, firmware, software, and systems engineers.
• Communicate clearly and write detailed reports.
