Job summary

RoShay Services seeks an experienced Steering System Hardware Design Engineer to design high-performance steering hardware and ensure project milestones are met. You will lead a design team, apply engineering principles, and coordinate with cross-functional groups to deliver reliable components.

The role requires CATIA CAD proficiency, strong knowledge of kinematics, and a solid grasp of automotive standards. Onsite with potential for one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 5+ years of automotive design experience (chassis, steering, EPS, gearbox or related).
• Proficient in CATIA V5/V6 and MS Office.
• Solid understanding of kinematics and automotive industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and oversee junior engineers and design teams.
• Meet performance, quality, cost, and delivery targets via planning and cross-functional coordination.
• Model parts and systems in CATIA and produce detailed drawings and specs.
• Track progress, share updates, and propose process improvements.

• Modeling parts and systems using CAD software (CATIA) and creating detailed drawings and specifications.


• Monitoring development progress, sharing updates, and proposing innovative solutions to improve processes and create value.


• Reviewing costs to ensure alignment with design goals and maintaining open communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.


• At least 5 years of relevant experience in automotive component/system design, including chassis, steering, EPS, gearbox, or related fields.
