Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Jacksonville, FL. This leadership role will oversee mechanical and plumbing design development for projects across RQ's regions and help guide engineering standards and project execution.

The ideal candidate will bring a BS in Mechanical Engineering, a PE license, 10+ years in HVAC and plumbing design, and BIM proficiency (Revit/AutoCAD). LEED AP is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC and plumbing focus.
• PE license is required for this leadership role.
• LEED AP certification is preferred; experience with DoD projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical and plumbing design development for projects.
