Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to technical problems.
• Ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables and limited standardization.
• Proficient with CAD and MS Word/Excel; familiarity with ERP/FEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and resources to safety initiatives and audits as required.
• Analyzes data from customer requirements, sales proposals, and manuals to determine design feasibility.
• Designs products or systems such as dampers and expansion joints; perform calculations.
• Prepares technical packages for bid packages and supports engineering drawing activities.
• Coordinates technical development, scheduling, and problem resolution with stakeholders.
• Oversees production testing to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
