Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical engineering experience.
• Experience with FMEA, DOE, root cause analysis, GD&T, and design for manufacturing and assembly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, create, and interpret blueprints, BOMs, drawings, and schematics.
• Answer technical questions; mentor team members and teach improved processes.
• Drive deadlines by coordinating actions and reviewing open issues.
• Ensure manufacturing, installation, testing conform to specifications and customer requirements.
• Direct/lead designers and drafters on project teams as needed.
• Define product requirements by studying concepts, specs, and regulatory needs.
• Evaluate prototype components and assemblies.
• Design testing methods and assess effects of design factors on fabrication and installation.
• Maintain knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and societies.
• Follow ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions.
