Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a Design Engineer to create innovative electro-mechanical product designs and 3D models, ensuring safety, quality and manufacturability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce detailed specifications and documentation.

The role involves performing analyses, leading design reviews, and guiding junior engineers while staying current with industry trends and best practices in agricultural and construction equipment design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product design or mechanical design engineering.
• SolidWorks experience (min 3 years).
• Creo experience (min 3 years).
• GD&T experience (min 3 years).
• Experience with electro-mechanical products and design.
• Experience with injection molding and casting design and processes.
• Familiarity with agricultural and construction equipment and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop electro-mechanical and fluid handling product designs with 3D models and GD&T drawings.
• Create detailed designs and specifications using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, Teamcenter).
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and product management for cost, quality and manufacturability.
• Perform design calculations, simulations, and stress analyses for safety and performance.
• Lead design reviews and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback.
• Produce technical documentation to support development and manufacturing.
