Job summary

L3HHCM20 in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a Specialist, Mechanical Design Engineer to join a cross-functional design team. You will develop electro-mechanical packaging, create 3D models and 2D drawings, and update racks, enclosures, and circuit card assemblies while meeting EVMS schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years mechanical design experience, or 8+ years related experience.
• Experience designing electro-mechanical packaging and enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Electro-mechanical packaging and design.
• Modification of existing and/or creation of new designs including electro-mechanical racks, shelters, enclosures, ground & airborne chassis’ and circuit card assemblies (CCA’s) and 3U/6U modules.
• Ensure new designs progress while meeting technical requirements and EVMS schedules and budgets.
• Ability to travel 5% of standard work week
• Must be able to obtain a US security clearance as a job requirement
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings of electro-mechanical designs.
