You will collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs meet performance, manufacturability, and cost targets. The position is a 12-month contract with hourly pay between $90.52 and $110.00.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing mechanical components, including plastic parts, metal parts, mechanical assemblies, PCBs, or flex circuits.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience using CAD tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and product development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems for product development programs.
• Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and design documentation using CAD software.
• Design and support development of plastic and metal parts, PCB integrations, and flex circuits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineering to ensure successful product development.
• Conduct design reviews and support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.
• Ensure designs meet performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost objectives.
• Support engineering change management and continuous product improvement initiatives.
