Position: Lead Design Engineer

What You’ll Do
- Own the design process from ideation through launch – developing novel device concepts, CAD models, and prototypes.
- Apply DFM, DFA, GD&T to ensure manufacturability and performance.
- Lead technical design reviews; use FEA and mold flow analyses to validate designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, suppliers, clinicians) throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support prototype builds, verification/validation testing, and regulatory submissions.
- Drive continuous innovation through root-cause analysis and iterative design improvements.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
- 5+ years of hands-on design engineering experience in Class II or III medical devices – essential.
- Proven track record in full product lifecycle development – from concept to commercialisation.
- Strong skills in ideation, conceptualisation, and creative problem-solving.
- Expertise in SolidWorks (or similar CAD); FEA and mold flow analysis a plus.
- Ability to balance innovation with practical engineering for high-volume manufacturing.
