Position: Lead Design Engineer

About the Company

What You’ll Do
  • Own the design process from ideation through launch – developing novel device concepts, CAD models, and prototypes.
  • Apply DFM, DFA, GD&T to ensure manufacturability and performance.
  • Lead technical design reviews; use FEA and mold flow analyses to validate designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, suppliers, clinicians) throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Support prototype builds, verification/validation testing, and regulatory submissions.
  • Drive continuous innovation through root-cause analysis and iterative design improvements.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
  • 5+ years of hands-on design engineering experience in Class II or III medical devices – essential.
  • Proven track record in full product lifecycle development – from concept to commercialisation.
  • Strong skills in ideation, conceptualisation, and creative problem-solving.
  • Expertise in SolidWorks (or similar CAD); FEA and mold flow analysis a plus.
  • Ability to balance innovation with practical engineering for high-volume manufacturing.
