Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead design of plastic, sheet metal, metal, and rubber components/assemblies from concept to production.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Creo.
• Perform tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, and tolerance analysis for complex assemblies.
• Apply DFM principles and support tooling/manufacturing optimization.
• Lead subsystem/small project scopes and manage technical deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors on DFM, tooling, and design optimization.
• Work within medical-device design controls and regulated environments.
• Support NPI from concept through design release/launch.

Description

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing and developing injection-molded plastic components and mechanical assemblies from concept through production release within a regulated/medical-device environment. The role requires strong Creo CAD, tolerance stack-up, GD&T, engineering drawing, DFM/DFA, and new product introduction (NPI) experience.
