Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group's Power Generation team seeks a Senior Consultant to support new build power plant projects with a mechanical focus. This role can be full- or part-time and offers remote or hybrid work across the United States and Canada, with periodic travel.

You will lead conceptual design and capital project execution, act as the project focal point for owners engineer services, perform mechanical design, and support commissioning activities with client-focused collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8-15+ years of experience in power plant design, operations & maintenance, and capital project management.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in power plant mechanical systems and preliminary design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support power plant conceptual design and capital project execution.
• Serve as the project focal point for owners engineer services for power plant new build projects.
• Perform mechanical design, capital project oversight, and equipment selection.
• Support equipment specifications, vendor oversight, and commissioning activities.
• Translate project objectives into actionable plans that meet or exceed schedule and budget targets.
• Prepare for and lead client meetings and technical discussions.
• Provide field support (approx. 15-20%) for project execution.
