Job summary

EEI, an employee-owned company, seeks a Sr. Mechanical Specialist on its Mission Critical team to lead commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation for mechanical systems in data centers and high-reliability facilities.

You will guide field execution, mentor crews, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure reliable commissioning outcomes while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in mechanical systems, commissioning, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, cooling infrastructure, controls.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings, specs, and data trends.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and field leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, testing, and verification for mechanical systems in data centers.
• Guide field execution, start-up support, and closeout activities.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues with project teams and vendors.
• Review drawings and test results to evaluate readiness and performance.
• Mentor Mechanical Specialists and provide field coaching.
