Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group, LLC in Geismar, LA is seeking an experienced Mechanical / Civil Superintendent to lead field execution from front end through project closeout. You will perform client walks, provide field input to estimates and execution plans, and direct safe, productive work on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has strong industrial construction leadership across mechanical and civil scopes, excellent client communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades,

Qualifications

• Strong industrial construction experience with a mechanical and civil background and superintendent-level field leadership.
• Reading drawings, specs, scopes of work, and client requirements.
• Experience participating in job walks and providing field input to estimating and planning.
• Strong safety leadership, quality, cost control, production tracking, and schedule performance.
• Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration with Strategy & Growth, Estimating, PM, and Operations.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and active projects in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily mechanical and civil work in accordance with scope, drawings, schedule, budget, quality requirements, and client expectations.
• Develop daily/weekly work plans and communicate production expectations to foremen, crafts, subcontractors, and field staff.
• Ensure crews have information, materials, tools, permits, access, and support required to perform efficiently.
• Coordinate work between crafts, subcontractors, client representatives, operations, PM, and Taurus groups.
• Monitor progress against plan, identify field conflicts early, and take corrective action to protect safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Lead and hold field supervision and craft personnel accountable for performance and client interaction.
