Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Senior Mechanic in Watford City, ND. The role focuses on advanced mechanical work on natural gas engines, compressors, pumps and turbines to support safe and reliable operations. You will troubleshoot, repair and install equipment, interpret manuals and run performance analyses.

The position is on‑site with occasional travel, offering a geographic allowance, profit sharing and incentive opportunities as part of ONEOK’s rewards package.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience servicing and repairing natural gas engines and compression equipment.
• Ability to interpret work orders, manuals and drawings.
• Experience with safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at multiple locations.
• Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair equipment; conduct emissions tests and analyses.
• Train and direct employees involved in mechanical work.
• Order and secure parts and supplies.
• Drive and ensure maintenance on company vehicles.
• Maintain logs, service orders and inspection reports.
