Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate others on tools and processes, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate and sanitize equipment properly.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to enhance sales and the shopping experience. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring quality standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, model high-quality service, train and mentor associates, and recognize contributions.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, and implement related action plans. Use the Open Door Policy to address issues and improve processes.
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, and communicating progress. Identify opportunities for improvement and adapt to change.
