Sam’s Club in Deptford, NJ is hiring a Senior Meat Cutter at Sam’s Club #6670. You will drive sales, cut meat to spec, and ensure quality for members. This full-time role pays $20.50–$28.50 per hour, with benefits.

The position requires at least 6 months in a fresh production environment and being 18+. You’ll work with teams, use handheld tech, and support inventory and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Meat Processing Area (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborate with cross functional teams and educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources, providing customer service.
• Be an Expert: maintain in-depth knowledge of meat types, seasonality, processing per specifications, sanitation, inventory management, and wrap/meat product handling.
• Be a Techie: use handheld devices to drive sales and decisions, train others in new tools, and ensure product quality for members.
• Be an Owner: drive profitability, maintain a clean work area per policies, and assist with purchasing decisions and proper packaging.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: train others and uphold service standards, follow Open Door Policy and ethical guidelines.
