Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to do the same.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring quality standards, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, executing tasks at the highest level, and mentoring others. Recognize contributions and help develop team members.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics, implementing related action plans, and applying the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, and seeking continuous improvement.

Wage Range & Additional Compensation
The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications include experience in meat processing and related skills.
