Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring quality standards, and managing merchandise properly. Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience in the meat area, modeling high-quality service, and executing duties at the highest level. Assist in training and mentoring others, recognizing contributions, and fostering a positive environment.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete work assignments efficiently, collaborate with team members, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department
- Ability to successfully complete required training and assessments
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications include experience in meat processing areas, which can enhance your suitability for the role.
